Chris Person, Owner Chris Person started his career working Saturday mornings at his mother's restaurant Adrian's. He worked at the restaurant until 1984 when he left Adrian's and went to manage the Corner Malt Shop in downtown Mankato. In 1988 Chris and brother, Patrick, remodeled the old Stone Toad on Madison Avenue and opened the legendary Tav on the Ave. In addition to Tav on the Ave, Chris owns and operates Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen with his brother Patrick and partner Tasha O’Hara.
Patrick Person, Owner Patrick Person started his career working Saturday mornings at his mother's restaurant Adrian's. He worked in the restaurant business until he left for the Army in 1982. When he returned he came back to Adrian's to manage the restaurant until 1988 when Patrick and brother Chris remodeled the old Stone Toad and opened the legendary Tav on the Ave. Then in 2001 that Adrian's closed their doors and Patrick opened The Neighbor's Italian Bistro. Patrick owns and operates Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen with his brother Chris and partner Tasha O’Hara.
Tasha O’Hara, Owner Tasha O’Hara has been a part of the Mankato Independent Originals family since 1995 when she worked as a waitress at the Tav on the Ave and eventually became the general manager. In 2001 she moved back to her hometown, Chicago, with hopes to one day open a pizzeria with family and friends. In 2003 Tasha and her husband moved back to the Mankato area and in 2006 she opened DINO’S Pizzeria with partners Chris and Patrick Person. Tasha owns and operates Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen with her partners Chris and Patrick Person.
Mark Kohner Mark Kohner is the head chef at Number 4 American Bar & Kitchen. He has worked at several Italian restaurants and country clubs in the Twin Cities for the past 14 years including La Grolla Italian Restaurant in St. Paul, MN, Pazzaluna Urban Italian in St. Paul, MN and The Wayzata Country Club in Wayzata, MN. He has enjoyed creating Number 4’s menu from scratch to offer you items that can’t be experienced anywhere else but at Number 4. In addition, Mark also cooks at The Neighbor’s Italian Bistro.
